Happy Monday, my friends. The weather here has been lovely - cool nights and warm days. I love fall. I am loving the wonderful colors on the trees. Today, my challenge card for Our Daily Bread Designs is all about fall colors.
My card base is cajun craze. The background is wrinkle free distress - a piece I had done about a week ago while playing with my distress inks. Colors are mustard seed, rusty hinge and shabby shutters. The edge is faux stitched and sponged with ruby red ink.
Stamps used are ODBD Don't Worry and Sing to the Lord. I stamped the flowers twice, once on the background and once on a piece of white. I colored the flowers with sponges using summer sun, tangerine tango and ruby red ink and cut them out to glue over the image stamped on the background. The stems were colored with certainly celery and old olive.
The black gingham ribbon is retired SU.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope you have a wonderful week.
