OK, so it's a little early, but my weekly class asked for Thanksgiving cards, and the sketch challenge on Splitcoast today worked perfectly with this set that I just received yesterday.
First I stamped the flannel plaid background on the creamy caramel card base. Then I stamped the leaf from Autumn Harvest on the really rust strip, which I layered on black and then attached to the card. I stamped happy thanksgiving over the flannel plaid in chocolate chip ink. The pumpkins and gourds are colored with watercolor crayons and aqua painter. Rather than masking, I cut out some and glued them in front to give more depth. The small pumpkin in the front is raised on mounting tape, as is the image panel. I used my crop-a-dile to attached rust eyelets and then threaded natural hemp through the eyelets and tied the ends. All images, ink and card stock are Stampin' UP!.
Recipe - stamps: autumn harvest, flannel plaid, all year cheer III (retired)
ink: jet black stazon, chocolate chip, creamy caramel, really rust
card stock: creamy caramel, really rust, basic black, very vanilla
accessories: watercolor crayons, aqua painter, crop-a-dile, rust eyelets, natural hemp, mounting tape
Thanks for stopping by.

I like the addition of the eyelets and hemp twine!! I didn't think that I would like this set when I got it, but I think it has a lot of possibilities! Great job making your pumpkin patch!

I love this card....I really like that set by SU....It looks like it would be fun to color!
This is fabulous, Melody! I especially like how the pumpkins break the rectangle, and your colors are lovely as well!
