a tisket, a tasket, a green & yellow basket

Hey, everyone. Today, we made baskets in class. This was a special request, and these are really simple.

The flowers are all die cut or punched. Each class member got to make two, so that meant 12 flowers per person. And then the class made extra for a special project involving eggs dyed with silk ties, which will be sold and the proceeds will be donated to the local food pantry.

Even though I cut most of the flowers with Sizzix Bigz dies in my cuttlebug, allowing me to run 2 or 3 layers of card stock through at a time, my shoulder got pretty sore from turning the crank.

We used a couple of jumbo wheels on the main part of the basket and the only other stamping was the leaves.

What's in it?
stamps: watercolor vine jumbo wheel, petal pizzazz (SU)
ink: glorious green, garden green
paper: various card stock
other: various floral punches, various flower dies (Sizzix), cuttlebug, stapler, 1/2" & 5/8" circle punches, scor-pal

Thanks for stopping by.
