an old favorite

Happy Wednesday. Since I have been struggling so much lately with anything creative, for the sketch challenge today on SCS, I decided to pull out an old retired set that never fails me. Natural Beauty has been one of my all time favorite sets.

I stamped the images with black stazon and colored them with colored pencils and gamsol. I added some highlights with white gel pen. I cut out the butterfly and popped up the wings with dimensional tape.

The edges of the white are all sponged with pacific point ink. The largest panel is embossed with my CB Swiss dots embossing folder and cuttlebug. Some of the panels are raised. I added some colored rhinestones from Michaels.

What's in it?
stamps: natural beauty (SU), sentiment (Endless Creations)
ink: jet black stazon, pacific point
paper: pacific point, basic black, whisper white
other: prismacolor pencils, gamsol, sponge dauber, cuttlebug, cb Swiss dots embossing folder, white gel pen, rhinestones, foam tape.

Thanks so much for visiting today. Be blessed.

That is indeed a beautiful card! The combination of white CB embossed background and the several shades of blue is just striking! The images, a butterfly (my favorite) and a flower complete the creation. Now I see the genius of the sketch.
