grungy monday 31

Hello, my friends.  It's birthday time for THE TIM HOLTZ.  So our challenge this week is to make him a birthday card using some of his signature products.  To check out all the details of the challenge, go to Linda Ledbetter's blog, Studio L3.

I started by swiping distress stains on my card stock to make sky, grass, and a road.  Of course, the road needed a white line down the center, so I used my white gel pen.

The rest of the scene is made of die cuts, pine tree, mini pine tree, and mini jalopy.  The arrow is part of the jalopy set.  I just cut a strip of brown for the post.  I used vintage photo distress ink to sponge the edges of everthing.  I wrote the word on the sign with a black marker.  I attached the sign and the car with dimensional tape.

All in all, a pretty simple card that I had fun making and I think it turned out pretty good.

Thanks for stopping by.
