creative chemistry 101 -day 10

Happy rainy Friday, my friends.  Today was the last lesson on Creative Chemistry 101 by Tim Holtz.  Some sadness that the class is ending.  I feel I've learned quite a bit.  And what's more, I was rather disappointed when I printed out the PDF file and there were only two pages (usually there were four).  When I looked at them, I realized there was only one tag today.  I felt short-changed, because I was expecting more. I know I shouldn't.  The class was fabulous.

So today's technique used rock candy distress stickles.  I have one bottle of distress stickles - weathered wood.  I really don't think that's gonna work.  So... what did I do?  I improvised.... again!  I used a mix of gloss Mod Podge and dazzling diamonds glitter.  Since I've never seen rock candy distress stickles in person, I don't know what it's supposed to look like, but I'm happy with my tag, even if I did have to improvise.  My stamp is from Cornish Heritage Farms.  Here is my tag - rock candy distress stickles technique.

Tomorrow is just a wrap-up, so unless Tim surprises us, there won't be any more techniques.  Thank you for joining me on my learning journey.  Have a great weekend.
