featured stamper

Hello, my friends.  Today, we celebrated mother's day at my sister's house.  Not everyone stays very long, so when we got a chance, my sis and I spent some time stamping.  We worked on the featured stamper challenge on SCS.  Happy Love Day is the card I chose to CASE.

I made an A2 sized card rather than a square one, but I kept the layout otherwise.  The Penny Black flower was colored with markers and then misted the image with water before stamping.

The sentiment is from Victorine Originals.

All the edges were sponged with vintage photo or walnut stain distress ink.
I pulled some buttons from my sister's button jar and crocheted the flower.  A small pearl was the final touch.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Did I read correctly? It read like you just crocheted the flower on the spot?!!
Love the colors on this!

Beautiful! Those purple stamped flowers could've grown right alongside your handmade one.
