I did get to spend some time with my stamps today. I made a card for the Gina K forum challenge on splitcoast, get krafty (or use kraft card stock on your card). Years ago, when I became a SU demo, I did not like kraft. But in recent years, I've seen some others make wonderful cards using it, so I've learned to like it, although I still don't use it very much.

Yesterday, I was at Michaels and another Martha punch jumped right into my basket, so I had to use it on my card. The flowers are made with my new hydrangea punch. I sponged the edges and placed two together with brad in the center for each flower. I also used my doily lace punch for a lacy edging.
What's in it?
stamps: botanical dreams (Gina K)
ink: jet black stazon, ruby red
paper: basic black, white, ruby red, kraft, dp (old world mat stack - DCWV)
other: koh-i-noor colored pencils, gamsol, sponge, doily lace & hydrangea punches (Martha Stewart), piercing tool, black brads, dimensionals
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be blessed.

OOOO!! How clever!! (I keep having MS punches jump in my cart...but somehow they keep jumping back out! Now I know where they went!)
Oh my what a pretty card...I love the lacey touch
I love how you did the flowers. What is gamsol and what does it do?
Sue, gamsol is odorless mineral spirits (often referred to as OSM). Rather than try to explain how it works, here is a link to a tutorial on Splitcoast: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/gamsol_magic/
Thanks and I hope this helps.
