I've also been working on crocheting some edgings to use on cards, but haven't gotten very far on that.
I haven't been stamping much, but when I saw the inspiration challenge on SCS posted tonight, I decided to do it, since the rest of the family was at the athletic club playing wallyball. I used the Moonflower Bath Salts Envelope as my inspiration.
I stamped the big flower from fabulous flowers (SU) in elegant eggplant on vanilla, and then masked it. I used a flourish from hero arts, which I embossed in gold and another flourish from Rubbernecker stamped in eggplant. Then I sponged rich razzleberry in a circular motion to get a lot of color on the cardstock.
The verse is stamped in black stazon.
I layered the piece on brushed gold, added some brads and gold cording and then adhered it to an elegant eggplant card base. The card went together very quickly, which was good, since I wanted to be finished before the family returned.
I appreciate you stopping by. Have a great weekend.

This turned out lovely!!
I like that card! The big flower and the flourish and the colors, and finally that awesome scripture. I really like this!
Melody this is exquisite! Seriously it is one of the most beautiful elegant cards... EVER!!
Lovely card, Melody!!
you really did a great job. I have been contemplating delving into my stash as well and starting a quilt. problem is I have a couple of unfinished ones to try and get done first.... Is this a common affliction for quilters? I am a fairly new quilter...
My favourite prayer and the card is exquisite!
