I had just finished working on a card for next week's class, when I noticed that the inspiration challenge had been posted on SCS, so I decided to check it out. I only looked at a few things on the website and found one I could use, so I've already got my card done. I used this fall leaf wreath as my inspiration.

The wood piece was die cut using a scallop oval frame (Sizzix), which I cut in half. Then I used peach parfait, cajun craze and rich razzleberry direct to paper to make the woodgrain. I added board lines and nails with a black marker.
I stamped the acorns in the corner, but messed up when coloring them, so I had to come up with a way to fix that. I took a piece of cajun craze and punched the edge with a Fiskars border punch. Then I glued it down and trimmed off the edges that extended beyond the card. The acorns were stamped on white and sponged and then cut out.
The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations (SU).
Thanks for stopping by. Have a wonder-filled weekend.
