My card today is for the Free for All challenge on splitcoast, take a seat. The challenge was to use furniture images. As far as I can remember, I don't have any stamps with furniture, so I decided to use a free digital chair image from birdscards. I printed the image once on white cardstock and then cut a piece of Basic Grey Wassail to 8-1/2"x11" and printed a second image on that and used paper piecing technique. On the bottom part of the chair - the legs, actually -- I swiped aged mahogany distress ink over it until it was completely covered (a great use for those new distress stains, but there isn't one in aged mahogany). Because the pattern paper is rather dark, I went over the lines with a black pen and added a bit of ink shading. The rug is cut from a different area on the same sheet of paper.

The flooring and wallpaper are hand drawn with markers, and I added both after I had everything glued down, lol. I decided the background was too plain. Everything is also edge sponged with vintage photo ink.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a great weekend.
