Hello, my friends. I painted today. On my card, which I made for the Inspiration Journal challenge IEMC05. The challenge was all about using paint on your project.
I started with a kiwi kiss card base. First I swiped on some white acrylic paint with a sponge brush. After allowing that to dry, I stamped my flower image (Local King Rubber Stamps) with jet black stazon ink and then painted the image with twinkling h2o's and a water brush.
I picked up a piece of purple scrap and was going to punch both sides, but on the third punch down one side, my punch broke. Although I've had the punch for years, I think this might be only the second time I've used it, so I guess that wasn't a great loss. So, anyway, on to plan B. I sponged the edges with perfect plum ink, and then used a ribbon punch from SU to punch the green strip, sponged the edges with always artichoke ink and added that on top of the purple strip.
I distressed the right edge of the card and sponged over the roughened edge with always artichoke ink. I stamped the sentiment with black stazon.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Have a great evening.
