such a fun technique

Hi there. Here I am again. I just couldn't quit. Since I had the background made for a second card using the faux handmade paper from today's technique challenge on SCS, I decided to go for it and make the second card.

For this one, I cut the background into strips. I used my other new catalog set (I only ordered two). Using another new in color, melon mambo, I stamped the bird image on white card stock, rounded the corners and sponged the edges. I backed it with black and strung some hemp and beads on it. The image is popped up.

I wanted the sentiment to fit in the word window punch, so I just found one that was small enough. The black behind it is a large oval punch, but I trimmed off the curves.

What's in it?
stamps: wings of friendship, wonderful favorites (SU)
ink: melon mambo, jet black stazon
paper, basic black, whisper white
other: acrylic paint, sponge dauber, black hemp, beads, 1/16" punch, word window punch, large oval punch, large corner rounder, foam tape.

Thanks so much for visiting. Be blessed.

If I ever find more than 3" of clear space on this desk, I'll have to give this technique a go!
