inspired by a bag

Hey everyone. Are you having a great weekend. Yesterday my daughter moved out and I'm pretty stiff and sore today from helping her move.

I was going to work on my card for the inspiration challenge on SCS this morning, but got sidetracked a bit because I needed to move some things in order to get to my stamps. Yesterday, we moved some things out of the way so furniture could be moved. I really needed to put them somewhere else anyway, so that meant I needed to do some rearranging. I did just enough so that I could get to my stamp supplies and stamp a card. There is still much more to be done in the cleaning/rearranging area.

I chose this bag as my inspiration. I love the design and colors. I decided to use a couple of stamps that had not yet seen ink. The main floral image is called weed patch from Endless Creations. I stamped it in chocolate chip on a cool caribbean cardstock circle which was die cut with a nestabilities circle from Spellbinders. The chocolate chip frame is a nestabilities dahlia (Spellbinders). I did some faux stitching and sponging.

The background and strip in the front are damask panel (Rubbernecker) stamped in cool caribbean on naturals ivory. They are also sponged in chocolate chip and the border has some doodling on it.

I added some tiny brown pearls and popped up the main image with dimensional tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit today. Be blessed.
