hope you can cling to day 1

Hi friends.  October -- changing leaves -- cool temps.  It's my favorite season.  How about you?

Over at SCS there are challenges all month in honor of breast cancer awareness.  Cards are sent to the Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  And there are prizes for those who participate.  If you want to play along, check out this link

Challenge one - inner strength.  A card with a window and something popped up inside the window.

I used a leaf and matching die from SU, along with spellbinders hexagons.  The leaf is actually centered in the opening, but the camera angle didn't pick that up.

Challenge two -- courage and strength.  A card using red or orange or both.

I used SU stamps secret garden and blooming with kindness.  The leaves are stamped directly on the card, but all the flowers are cut out and attached.  Copic markers were used to color the flowers.

Challenge three -- flat is fabulous.  A card that is only one or two layers without bulky embellishments.

I stamped the gingko leaves from kind & caring thoughts (SU), and then added details with prismacolor pencils and a black marker.  The edge punch is from EK Success.

Thanks for stopping by.
